Hi, I am Originally from Canada we moved to Barbados at the end of 2022. I have two children Holden and Eleanor attending Codrington in the PYP level. We have 3 dogs and handful of monkeys that like to visit them. I am a Psychotherapist, I love the beach, yoga, and spending time with my family. I am excited to be the PTA President and look forward to a great year!

Hi everyone, I am Lauren and I have twin girls that attend Codrington in PYP5, Lacy and Lola. I was born and raised in Barbados and after spending many years away working away I now permanently reside in Barbados. I spend a lot of time focused on my family but in my spare time I enjoy heading to the beach and relaxing with friends and family. This year I will resume my post as communications on the PTA and I will be the face on the school related matters on the WhatsApp Groups. I look forward to another great year on the PTA.

After over a decade working in the corporate world, I took a break to focus on raising my two children, Eason and Avalyn who are going into PYP 8 and PYP 6. While taking time off from the corporate world, I pursued my interest in real estate, buying and flipping homes, and I also shared my professional experience by teaching in college business programs. I’m passionate about youth development and supporting their futures through strong community connections. This year, I’m excited to contribute as the PTA’s event coordinator, where I can help bring people together to build lasting relationships through meaningful events and gatherings.

Hi everyone! I’m Ericka, originally from Mexico, Barbados has been my home for the past 8 years. Proud mom to Gigi currently attending PYP 8 at Codrington. We enjoy the island very much, love going to the beach and sports mainly Zumba and jumpit! I am an engineer but I’ve been working in finance at D&B for the past 4 years. Looking forward to collaborate with this amazing team.

I’m Australian, and have been involved in the mining industry all my finance career – the first 20 years with a major multinational resources company and the last 15 as a business founder. I met my wife, Brenda, some 13 years ago in Chile, where she was posted at the Canadian Embassy in Santiago. Since that time we have lived in various countries – Colombia, Mexico, Canada and Singapore – and brought two wonderful kids into the world – Valentina (9yo in PYP6) and Ethan (6yo in PYP3). We recently moved to Barbados when Brenda was appointed the Canadian High Commissioner. Over the years I’ve enjoyed contributing to various sporting associations and foundations to foster youth development. In addition, I hold a number of directorship, and sit / have sat on various boards and business councils. I’m very much looking forward to applying my “nerdy” accounting qualifications as the new treasurer of the PTA and helping to add value to our school, parents, kids and our broader community.
