Teaching Positions
The Codrington School, The International School of Barbados, seeks the services of qualified and experienced educators for the following positions as of August 2021: IB DP/MYP/PYP Art teacher, IB DP/MYP Design Technology teacher, IB DP/MYP/PYP Music teacher, IB DP/MYP Mathematics teacher, and a PYP teacher.
The successful applicants will hold at least a relevant initial degree (a master degree would be preferred ); a teaching qualification and at least two years full time teaching experience as a qualified teacher. Applications will be neither acknowledged nor considered from candidates who do not hold an academic degree, a teaching qualification and the relevant experience.
The positions will require the successful candidate to teach within the International Baccalaureate (IB) programme. As such the successful candidate must be cognizant of, and his/her teaching philosophy should reflect that of, the IB. Experience teaching in an International school setting and IB training/experience in one of the IB programmes are highly desirable.
